Section 467
Deed May Be Approved And Registered With Office In Other District
trict: (1) If the parties to a deed intend to get the deed approved
and registered in a district other than the district in which either of
them resides or the property is situated, they shall make an
application, setting out the matter, to the concerned office of that
district.
(2) If an application is made for the registration of a deed
pursuant to sub-section (1), such an office shall make necessary
inquiry into the matter and approve and register such deed by
fulfilling the legal requirements.
(3) If a deed of immovable property is approved and
registered in other district pursuant to sub-section (2), the office
shall send a copy of the registered deed to the relevant office of the
concerned district.
